ESSAY

I do believe that, we students aspire to succeed in life and we turn education as the key to achieving our goals. But do we really think that we are taught the lessons that we need to learn? The answer is, no. Today, we believe that we are being "uneducated", we mean the intangibles that we need to learn as human beings and as well-rounded individuals are being neglected. Yes we are given facts and information to digest, but the handful methods on how we learn deteriorates our way of thinking as an individual. Indeed it is ironic, but the painful truth is that this type of education contradicts our Filipino way of life, which is being naturally expressive, creative and open-minded.

In some aspects of higher education, most of our students have measured up to their high susceptibilities. the thoughts and actions of many of them tend to stunt the mind dry up the heart, and squelch the soul these students are being uneducated in college i shall briefly discuss three ways in which they pay talon fees and make unnumbered sacrifices. book worship in the first place, there is  the all but delirious worship of the printed page. Many student feel a sort of frenzy for facts till these become as huge as the mountains and the mind is crushed under them.
